8-22-99 (11:10pm EST) I know, as if this space needed any more text ;). Wanted to make sure that Kris' full name and email address is available for you to write him. Look next update for a great pic by him that will make you think "cool " on a hot summer's day. Also wanted to correct myself when describing one of the scenes from "Color Me Confused" . Dale and Foxy intererviewed Bam the newt, not Tore the chamelon. Sorry for the oversight (I *did read this story; how could I make that mistake :} )? Again, the latest site update will show up at www2.crosswinds.net/~foxyfeature. I'll try to contact all of you that have linked to the Feature and will keep a pointer to the new addy at Tripod when the time comes. Hope to see you there! Hi and welcome to another Foxglove Feature update! You might have seen that a lot of new faces have appeared in the RR community lately. It's really nice to see that the Rangers still have a following and that it's expanding all the time. Equally, the Feature is growing at an alarming rate ^^. The gallery, from its paltry beginning, now hosts 16 artists and several dozen pieces of artwork. Many more authors have included Foxy in their fanfics, and several have written stories which Foxy plays a major role. Romantics has become a huge archive of dedications to Dale and Foxglove. As long as there is a love for this truly special one-ep character, the Feature will continue to grow. Of course, as this happens, I need to find a place to hold all of your great stuff ^^. Yes... the Feature is moving. I've nearly exhausted my space at Tripod, and have located a new place to set up shop. Taking a cue from the RR Database's recent move, I looked into Crosswinds.net. They claim to have unlimited space and the absence of banners & pop-ups a huge plus. For those who have linked to this page, the new address is: http://www2.crosswinds.net/~foxyfeature Right now, I don't have anything set up here. The next update, however, will be at this address. By that time, I'll have a pointer to the new site set up at the Tripod address. Okay - there's quite a lot to talk about, so on to the goodies! Four new Foxy Fan art pictures are available! ChipNDeath returns with a gorgeous color picture of both Tammy and Foxglove walking poolside. No two one-ep characters looked better together ^^. Next is a new drawing from Matt Ploetcher's Heart Gallery. Foxglove eyes a very shy (and very small) Dale, who waves nervously. Those who like Foxy in a big way should see this ;). Kris, a new artist arrives with two great Foxy drawings. The first is a gem - an overjoyed Foxy receives a kiss on the wing from Dale. Way to go, Dale! Next features the couple sharing time together amongst brilliant 4th of July fireworks. It's a really nice scene ^^. At present, I haven't been able to get Kris' e-mail and home page - these come courtesy of Matt Ploetcher's RR Database. Kris, if your reading this, drop me a line. The Fanfic section adds a delicious new story from Matt Ploetcher. "Color Me Confused" cleverly fills the gap between his fanfics, "Plots" and "Swarm". Foxglove plays a big part in this story, as she and Zipper help catch a Circus robber. Her antics during an interview between Dale and crafty newt Bam are a riot! I had a ball reading this short story, and urge you to read Ploetcher's three fanfics for the full story. Steven Hamrick (a.k.a Indy) adds another glorious chapter to his story "The Times of Their Lives". It's now 8 chapters long, and the plot continues to grow more complex and entertaining. If you've followed the story thus far, drop in for a read! Matt Ploetcher's RR Database Plato Awards was a big hit! The awards ceremony was written extremely well by him; everyone there had a great time. What was most astonishing was the sheer number of awards Foxglove accepted at the ceremony. For example, Charles William's "Bat Conservatory Logo" and "Foxglove Tapestry" won Best B&W line art and Color Art, respectively. Roy Neal Grissom won a several awards for his stories, including one for "Home is Where You Hang Upside-Down", which won Best Use of a Pre-Established Character (One Shot). Towards the end of the ceremony, Foxglove was again called to accept an award; this time is was the Feature for Best Layout! Here a quick take from the ceremony on what happened: KIRBY: The Foxglove Feature Page! Way to go! [You guessed it -- another ear-splitting squeal of delight from FOXGLOVE, who flies down to the stage. Apparently, KIRBY and MULDOON have shrunk, as FOXGLOVE is about the same size as them.] FOXGLOVE: Wow! Wow! And one more time -- WOW! You guys really really really really really like me! Of course, I can’t really take the credit for this -- it goes to Jaleel, the page maintainer, for keeping everything nice and easy to navigate through. Thanks a whole whopping huge big ol’ bunch everyone! I love you so much it hurts! Actually, the real credit belongs to you - the artists, writers and fans that made the Feature so cool! W H A T 'SC O M I N G?

Have some Foxglove art, fan-fiction, etc. that you would like to see on this page? I'd really like to hear from you. Indy has done something I think no other RR of Foxy fan has tried before - he created a family tree for Foxglove! Come next update, you'll see those who have adopted her and their family. Just to note, there's quite a story behind the names of the males and females in the family. This tree is inspired from his story "The Times of Our Lives"; if you haven't already read the story, stop by the Fanfic section here and take a look ^^! "Good Times, Bat Times" has been represented a number of ways at the Feature. One reader suggested that I go one up by showing more screen captures from the episode. We'll, I've met that challenge, and come next update, you'll get to view lots of the ep's scenes in via a gallery slide show. You can manually view all the pictures sequence or select "Auto", relax and watch the scenes go by. If you like, you can also select the pictures you want to view from a thumbnail gallery. The scenes come courtesy of David Stone's CDRR Screen Capture site. Now with so much space available at Crosswinds, I would like to also offer some video scenes of the episode.
